Why?

Bitch, please.
Kind of half-assing this one because its the last one, but if my followers haven’t seen why I love dragonball by now, they don’t deserve to know.
DBZ CHALLENGE [DAY 28]
Cell’s first form is fucking terrifying to me and I have no idea why.
DBZ CHALLENGE [DAY 29]
Holy shit, is Super Buu scary. In a matter of hours he:

Dragon Radar, hands down.
Without it, there would be no series.

IF YOU LIKE IT SO MUCH YOU CAN HAVE IT, TRUNKS.
There is so much love in my soul for this one scene that frankly, whenever I think about it, I cannot stop smiling. MY FACE HURTS RIGHT NOW I JUST NEED EVERYONE TO UNDERSTAND THAT.
You mean between him DEMOLISHING THE RED RIBBON ARMY WHEN HE WAS LIKE FOURTEEN AND AVENGING HIS ENTIRE RACE BY DESTORYING THE TYRANT THAT KILLED THEM IN COLD BLOOD?
OH, JEEZE, GUYS.
I DON’T FUCKING KNOW.
Frankly, Goku has so many awesome moments it is difficult to comprehend having one as a favorite. He is the show’s main character for fuck’s sake. He is also an enigma- his body is mortal, but the invincibility of his spirit is simply staggering. Despite being an absolute crap father and husband, Goku is basically fucking flawless.
But, I digress,
I think I’m going to have to go with Goku’s first Super Saiyan transformation, not because the moment itself is necessarily the funniest or most heart warming, but because in that single moment so many ideas converge.
Frieza destroys planet Vegeta to avoid fighting Super Saiyans. Bardock has a premonition that his son will defeat Frieza, burning to a crisp in the same fiery blaze that takes their home planet. Twenty-some years later, here we are: on Namek, where Bardock saw his grown son for the first and only time in his brief glimpse into the future, watching Goku violently become everything that Frieza feared about their race.

MY GOD, IT’S FULL OF STARS.
So, just really…
or
THIS.

Running a little late on these. LIFE’S BEEN HECTIC.
How about in, like, every DBZ movie, when Vegeta makes one great surprise entrance but then gets knocked unconscious or looks intensely beat up literally ten seconds later?
Do those count?
Because they are HILARIOUS.

LOOK AT ME,
I’M FUCKING VEGETA, PRINCE OF ALL SAIYANS.
JUST GONNA FUCK UP YOUR FACE DON’T MIND ME EH-

OH…

Oh…

… nevermind.
Well… [x]
I suppose my second favorite quote would have to be a two-way tie
——- “I think Goku has demonstrated abilities that go far beyond his years and training, but let’s be clear: he didn’t just hurt the Red Ribbon Army, he crushed it. When one little boy can cripple a deadly empire, with its superior firepower and resources, I not only think that the word invincible applies- I think he defines it. Personally, I would have tried a more diplomatic approach, but hey, I can’t fly a cloud either. They’ll be talking about that one for a while.”
Something about this these lines… although Goku may not be my favorite character by a long shot, there is a reason why he is the main character of sorts. He exemplifies what one might consider a true hero, pure of heart with an unshakable sense of right and wrong. Goku flew straight onto the Red Ribbon Army base with no plan of action, but with courage and a firm belief in what he was there for. His strength, of course, is a factor in the Red Ribbon Army’s defeat, but while his physical body is what Roshi meant, I feel that Goku’s spirit is just as indestructible.
——- “What do you know of meaningless? Spend most of your life ruled by another, watch your race dwindle to a hand full, and then tell me what has more meaning than your own strength. I have in me the blood of a Saiyan prince. He is nothing but a joke, yet I have had to watch him surpass me in strength- my destiny, thrown to the wayside. He-he’s even saved my life as if I were a helpless child. He has stolen my honor, and his debts must be paid.”
THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITES FOR REASONS THAT DON’T NEED TO BE EXPLAINED BECAUSE IT IS VEGETA AND HE IS A BEAUTIFUL CREATURE WITH LOTS OF FEELS THAT HE NEVER EXPRESSES BECAUSE THEY OVERLOAD THE CENTER OF HIS BRAIN THAT EXPRESSES SHIT I GUESS.
